RRL, XEL & GKP

No real signs of anything to buy yet.

GKP, didn’t sell off but the volume was still low in the rally. I think if there had been 2 consecutive red candles the price would have stalled dramatically. However, we’re back in the holding pattern.

If we break out of the Bollinger Bands with a tick up on the histogram that would be a buy signal for me. Though i am thinking that the blue box is our trading range until some news gets leaked out to the brokers.

XEL, needs Volume and momentum if we’re ever going to go north.

RRL, getting stopped out at Break Even proved cost effective. Looks sick now.

Gulf Keystone – Looking Weak , needs some real Volume sooner rather than later

I guess most brokers will have access to RNS logs, and if one is being held. Might be of use in the future.

In reply to Monkeyz::

Pennants are small continuance patterns that stand for brief pauses within an already existing trend. They are illustrated by converging trendlines and have a unambiguous bullish or bearish partiality depending on the overall trend.

Bearish pennants take shape in the center of significant drops or the moment after a stock has broken down from a significant rally.

Downside breaks do not have the similar volume requirement as their bullish counterparts. Like other bearish breaks, there often is a delayed volume increase.

On the 15 minute chart , there would appear to be a potential Head And Shoulders pattern.

I am currently only in XEL. Whish I am actually quite happy about.

GKP is going sideways , still contained by the big red candle as described last week. In fact nothing has changed since last week.

RRL, dropped below it’s trend line, and in doing so stopped me out at break even – commission. I think if I want to trade this in the future it will be with CFDs not physical shares

MXP, still looks bearish to me.

XEL, starting to near the 150 moving average, consolidating near the trend line, with news still to come out , i have my toes crossed that this is the bottom.

Where Am I?
